Kelly Siry, Water Resources Engineer, has received the Environmental Business Council of New England (EBC) Ascending Leader Award, which recognizes young professionals in the energy and environmental sectors who display outstanding leadership and industry involvement early in their careers.
Kelly started her career at VHB as an intern, supporting the research and development of our new asset management software. After earning her MS in Environmental Engineering, Kelly joined VHB as a full-time Water Resources Designer. Quickly distinguishing herself with exceptional leadership and technical skills, she advanced to a Project Manager role within two years.
Maintaining important client relationships, Kelly manages complex projects focusing on stormwater management design, water quality improvements through green infrastructure, watershed analyses, and data management. By establishing herself as a collaborative partner to her clients, Kelly exemplifies VHB’s commitment to delivering an outstanding client experience.
Beyond her project management experience, Kelly contributes to a positive work culture with her creativity and relationship-building skills, co-captaining the VHB Soccer Team and remaining an active member of the VHB Environmental Group’s Fun Committee. Kelly also mentors junior engineers, co-leads VHB’s Water Resources Community of Practice, and spearheaded VHB’s first Water Resources Summit. Her commitment to fostering community and positivity reflects VHB’s dedication to creating an exceptional, welcoming work environment.
